Christopher Walker

Chair

Christopher Walker is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience at Cummins Inc.. Beginning his career as a Systems Engineer, he has successfully led initiatives across Engineering, IT, Quality, and Human Resources. He currently serves as Director of HR Operational Excellence for the Cummins Components business guiding strategic initiatives across the organization.  He is deeply committed to community impact and leadership development. He served nine years with the Fathers and Families Center, including as Board Chair. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt through the American Society for Quality and holds the SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation. Passionate about advancing equity, Christopher volunteers as a Six Sigma coach for the Six Sigma Racial Equity Institute. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Outside of work, Christopher enjoys travel, photography, cycling, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Dr. Terrance Bridges

Dr. Terrance Bridges is a faith leader, educator, leadership practitioner, and nonprofit consultant committed to empowering communities through faith, education, and service. With more than two decades of experience in ministry, education, and community development, he has led initiatives focused on leadership development, youth empowerment, academic achievement, and organizational growth. Dr. Bridges has worked extensively with churches, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to create impactful programs that strengthen individuals and families. His passion is helping people and organizations grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially to create lasting transformation in their communities.

Alan Parks

Meet Alan, a 21-year veteran in the non-profit sector, currently serving as the Scout Executive/Chief Executive Officer of the Sagamore Council, Boy Scouts of America in Kokomo, Indiana. His journey with the Boy Scouts began in 2003 as an entry-level District Executive in Detroit, MI, and has since seen him ascend through various managerial roles, leaving positive impacts in Columbus, OH (2009 – 2015) and Pittsburgh, PA (2016 – 2022).

Rev. Jerry E. Davis

Rev. Jerry E. Davis III is a pastor, technology leader, and community strategist based in Indianapolis. He serves as Pastor of Crossroads African Methodist Episcopal Church, leading a multi-generational congregation focused on spiritual growth, outreach, and community transformation.
Rev. Davis also serves as Consultant for Outreach and Grants with IU Health, advancing health equity initiatives and strengthening community partnerships. With nearly 30 years of experience in information technology, he has trained professionals in programming, cybersecurity, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure while building systems that expand opportunity and empower communities.
He is the founder of Emmanuel Connection Microlearning Centers and leads JEDIII & Associates, supporting churches, nonprofits, and civic organizations in leadership development and strategic collaboration.
Rev. Davis holds degrees from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Payne Theological Seminary and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Methodist Theological School in Ohio. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

Dimitri Dunner

Director

Dimitri Dunner is an experienced educational leader and community advocate dedicated to creating safe, supportive, and student-centered learning environments in Indianapolis. Currently serving as Assistant Principal at Irvington Community Middle School, he oversees school safety initiatives, student behavioral supports, attendance interventions, and staff supervision while working collaboratively with students, families, and educators to promote student success. Prior to this role, Dimitri served as Dean of Students and Culture and Climate Specialist at Longfellow Medical/STEM Middle School, where he led MTSS initiatives, coordinated behavior intervention systems, supervised student services teams, and supported schoolwide culture and climate efforts. His professional background reflects a strong commitment to restorative practices, student advocacy, and educational leadership, reinforced by CPI certification and designation as an Indiana School Safety Specialist.  Beyond education, Dimitri is deeply engaged in community service and nonprofit leadership through Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Alphamen, Inc., where he has helped lead scholarship initiatives, fundraising efforts, and community service projects benefiting families and youth throughout Indianapolis. As Scholarship Committee Chairman for Alphamen, Inc., he oversees scholarship programming and selection processes designed to expand educational opportunities for local students. His leadership philosophy centers on service, accountability, collaboration, and empowering others to reach their full potential.

Rev. John Russell

Director

Rev. John C. Russell Jr. is a respected spiritual leader known for his impactful ministry, community engagement, and commitment to service. Originally from Mobile, he serves as Senior Pastor of University United Methodist Church, the largest and fastest-growing Black United Methodist church in Indiana. Through his leadership, the church has experienced significant spiritual and numerical growth while fostering a culture of inclusivity, empowerment, and meaningful community partnerships.
Rev. Russell is also the Chief Chaplain for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, where he provides counseling, spiritual guidance, crisis support, and leadership development for officers, staff, and their families.
A gifted teacher and preacher, Rev. Russell has led global ministry efforts including church building projects in West Africa, leadership seminars in Tanzania, medical relief in South America, and advocacy for refugees and immigrants in Alabama. He is a recipient of the Marion Ballard Achievement Award and the Bishop Cornelius Henderson Award. Rev. Russell is also a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and an active community leader.
